A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is a part of the process of returning a product in order to receive a refund, replacement, or repair during the product’s warranty period. The purchaser of the product must contact the manufacturer (or distributor or retailer) to obtain authorization to return the product. The resulting RMA number must be displayed on or included in the returned product’s packaging
In addition to the default functionality, this module works for sending email notification to the customer and also gives access of RMA claims on Portal
Odoo does have option to book RMA as back office process.
1) Return of material form customer to the manufacturer or distributor
2) Replacement of product with new delivery
3) Refund against non replaceable items
4) RMA access through Odoo Web portal
